By booking accommodation with us via Airbnb, VRBO, or any other mechanism, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions, which outline the rights and responsibilities of guests and the property owner. Please read these terms carefully before making your reservation.

Sierra Treehouse Chalet is a privately owned vacation rental located in Pioneer, California. The property details, amenities, occupancy limits, and house rules are listed in our online listings and incorporated into this agreement.

Booking and Payment

All bookings and payments are facilitated via Airbnb, VRBO, or other third-party platforms. Your booking is confirmed only upon receipt of payment and booking confirmation.
Additional charges may apply for cleaning, extra guests, or other optional services, as listed on those platforms.

Occupancy and House Rules

Guests must comply with the maximum occupancy limits specified in the listing.
Quiet hours and noise restrictions apply as posted within the property and on our web listing.
No parties or events without written approval.
The minimum age for the primary booking guest is 25.
Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
Pet policies will be clearly posted on each booking page; please check before booking.

Pets

Pets are welcome at Sierra Treehouse Chalet. Pet owners must follow all terms and conditions as described in the property rules displayed on the booking platform (Airbnb, VRBO, or other), including:

Any pet-specific fees or deposits as listed in your reservation.
Maximum allowable number of pets, size, and breed limitations.
Requirements regarding keeping pets off furniture, supervision, noise control, and cleaning up after pets (indoors and outdoors).
Documentation requirements such as vaccination records, flea treatment, or municipal licenses, if specified by property rules or local ordinances.

Failure to follow posted pet rules may result in additional cleaning or damage fees, or forfeiture of all or part of the security deposit as outlined on the booking platform.

Check-In and Check-Out

Early check-in or late check-out requests must be approved in advance.

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation policies follow those selected on the booking platform (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.). Please review them prior to making a reservation.
No refunds are provided for weather, road conditions, or shorted stays except as per the platform policy.

Damage and Security Deposit

Guests are responsible for any damage caused during the stay. Damage deposits or insurance may be required and are managed per the booking platform's terms.
Charges for damages, lost items, or policy violations may be deducted from the security deposit or charged to the payment method on file.

Maintenance and Access

The owner (or authorized agent) reserves the right to enter the property for necessary repairs, inspections, or emergencies with reasonable notice.

Liability

The owner is not liable for accident, injury, or loss during your stay. Guests are encouraged to purchase travel insurance for coverage.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will be resolved according to local regulations and booking platform processes.

Changes

Sierra Treehouse Chalet reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our property or site constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
